King Kong Gone Bonkers

Who woulda thunk? One of the most famous classics of all time, remade...for the third time. At least there wasn't any Tom Cruise in this one. There's a reason the Oscars didn't nominate this for editing: there isn't any.

Here is something that struck me about halfway through: Kong's face seemed to be inspired by someone else. It took a little thinking, but his grouchy expression and hairiness led me to one conclusion:

I was wondering how they managed to get that huge thing on that tiny ship to begin with. It was giving me a headache, seeing the lack of transition from his huge chloroform-induced stupor to Broadway. Thankfully, the folks at Mad Magazine came up with an answer.
